"Commanding Heights" should be required viewing for everyone in the United States and the world. It gives in a compact form a history of economic thought and the application of economic principles to human life. No serious student of history should be without a clear understanding of everything in this series. We are fortunate that the authors took such care in explaining incredibly complex ideas and illustrating their consequences when applied.
